Welcome to Music at Penn's Woods

Spotlight

The daffodils are blooming at Penn State, so that means warm summer nights—and Music at Penn’s Woods—are just around the corner. We have an exciting and eclectic repertoire planned for you, and have partnered with new restaurants for your pre-concert dining. Thanks again to Mount Nittany Health for sponsoring Music in the Gardens, which will surely be a highlight of Happy Valley’s summer music offerings. Find out more on our website. We look forward to seeing you for Music at Penn's Woods!

Eitan Globerson will be our guest conductor for the June 25 concert. Maestro Globerson is professor of piano and conducting and dean of performing arts at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. He graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music, where he received his bachelor of music degree and Artist Diploma. He completed his studies at the Hannover Musikhochschule, where he received a Soloist Diploma. He studied piano with Dina Turgeman, Boris Berman, Irina Edelstein, Michael Boguslavsky, and Arie Vardi; clarinet with Yaakov Barnea; and cello with Gershon Friedman.
